New Line has officially announced that Dark City director’s cut we’ve been reporting on. The extended cut will come out on July 29th on both DVD and Blu-ray and will feature about fifteen minutes of additional footage. Based on comments last year from David Goyer, I’m guessing there’s more to this director’s cut than just a little more movie, but until New Line / Warner Bros announces the full disc specs, that’s all we know. In the meantime, they have put out a nice, higher resolution version of the cover art that you can enjoy below.
