Start The Holiday Early With I Hate Valentine's Day On DVD Valentine’s Day not your thing? Well, it isn’t Genevieve’s (Nia Vardalos) thing either. Commiserate with the romantically challenged when IFC Films and MPI Media Group release I Hate Valentine’s Day on DVD and Blu-ray February 9th.

Genevieve is the owner of a small flower shop in Brooklyn. Even with her love of romance, roses, and all of the nuances related to Valentine’s Day, she’s got a major hatred toward relationships. She plays the dating game, but makes sure to exit before she runs the risk of getting hurt. Genevieve is forced to reevaluate her methods when she meets the new guy in town, Greg (John Corbett), the owner of a new restaurant and an all-around good guy.

The critics may not have loved the reunion of the My Big Fat Greek Wedding stars, but when the film’s release is so time-appropriate, it’s hard to pass up. The bonus material is a bit on the light side, with nothing but a commentary with Vardalos and producers William Sherak and Jason Shuman. The BD carries a price tag of $29.98 and the DVD of $19.98, but can you really put a price on love? Okay, that was super cheesy, but I’m getting into the holiday spirit.
