Stills: Enchanted Recreates Disney Magic

Enchanted hit DVD this week and I couldn’t be more excited. Due to a hectic schedule I didn’t get the chance to see the movie in theaters, but the Disney fairly tale brought to life is a movie I really want to check out.
One of the best things about the movie are the inside jokes for fans of Disney animated movies. There are some subtle references, such as musical cues or the voices of other Disney princesses putting in appearances in the movie, but Enchanted goes beyond that. Not only was the script for Princess Giselle’s adventure inspired by classic Disney movies, but director Kevin Lima used the animated features as inspiration for the filming of the movie as well. We’ve gotten our hands on a baker’s dozen images that takes frames from the movie and compares them to frames from some of Disney’s best and most memorable pictures. These aren’t just fanboy work either, but provided by the house of mouse as evidence of Enchanted’s tributes to movies like Cinderella, Beauty and the Beast and even Lady and the Tramp.
