Zombieland Deleted Scene Shows The True Value Of The Ziploc Bag
You’ll be formally invited into Zombieland when the film hits DVD and Blu-ray on February 2nd, but Sony Pictures Home Entertainment is rolling out the welcome mat early in the form of bonus material. The first clip is a deleted scene that reveals another one of Columbus’ ingenious rules for surviving Zombieland. Next up is a removed moment shared by a stranded Columbus and Tallahassee. The third comes from a featurette during which Abigail Breslin reveals her desperation to be zombiefied. Lastly we get a peek at Amber Heard living out Breslin’s dream as the makeup team turns her into a member of the living dead.

Behind the Scenes
As one of my favorite films of 2009, Zombieland is top priority come Tuesday. Not only is the movie a blast, but the bonus features look as thought it’ll follow suit. Your $39.95 will be well spent on the Blu-ray edition, which comes with …
- Deleted Scenes
- Commentary with Actors Woody Harrelson & Jesse Eisenberg, Director Ruben Fleischer, Writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick
- “In Search of Zombieland” – A behind-the-scenes look at the making of Zombieland
- “Zombieland is Your Land” – Creating the world of Zombieland
- Visual Effects Progression Scenes
- Theatrical Promo Trailers
- “Beyond the Graveyard” Picture-in-Picture Track
- movieIQ
- Digital Copy of the film for PSP®, PC and iTunes
The DVD option will only cost you $28.96, but chops off “Beyond the Graveyard,” movieIQ and the digital copy of the film. Either way, Zombieland is a fantastic buy that is sure to invoke multiple viewings.
