Halo 3 Heroic Map Map Free On Tuesday

To my fellow Halo superfans who also did not purchase last fall’s Heroic Map Pack, we have good news. In light of the new Legendary Map Pack making its way out soon, Bungie just announced we’d be getting a price reduction the Rat’s Nest. A price reduction right down to zilch. Starting this Tuesday, the Heroic Map Pack will be free to downloand on Xbox LIVE Marketplace.
In case you’ve been hiding in a hovel, the Heroic Map Pack features, Rat’s Nest, Standoff and the customizer friendly Foundry. Formally at $10 price point, the pack is being made free just like Bungie promised. This keeps the fans who really want to jump into the latest thing happy to have new content, and the rest of us who can only spend gaming funds on new games with a chance to join in the fray at a later time. According to the latest Weekly Update the Heroic Map Pack officially goes to free at 2am this Tuesday. RELATED: dlc, map pack, xbox 360, bungie, halo 3
