Latest Facebreaker Character Trailer

When Facebreaker was first announced I had nothing but high hopes for the game. An arcade style boxing game is just what I’d like to be playing. It’s been far too long since I’ve fought ridiculous caricatures like King Hippo. So a Pixar inspired art design mixed with wacky characters is a perfect blend. Unfortunately the vids of the pugilists have been a little underwhelming so far. The Romeo one left me feeling cold, and also remembering those that were done so superbly for Team Fortress 2.
The latest trailer is of Steve, who could very well be the Star Wars Kid all grown up. The character is mildly amusing, but I think EA missed the mark on the humor this time around. I’m not sure who did the previously mentioned TF2 trailers, but I wonder if that team could be consulted for the next entry. For instance, the carpal tunnel joke at the end wasn’t lame enough to be funny for Steve. In any case, you should be pleased to enjoy the Steve Facebreaker trailer below.
