Jason West and Vince Zampella, the recently ousted leaders of Call of Duty developer Infinity Ward, are now clients of Creative Artists Agency. The two signed with the Hollywood talent agency today, presumably to help them field new job opportunities.
It's not clear what the duo is looking to do next, though. CAA declined to tell The LA Times (who first reported on the signing) what their plans are. One would imagine they've been getting a lot of calls from video game publishers, though.
West and Zampella were fired by Infinity Ward parent company Activision earlier this month. Activision alleged that they were in breach of their contract. However, West and Zampella then filed a lawsuit claiming that the publisher had terminated them to avoid paying royalties on Modern Warfare 2, IW's latest game. They hope to obtain monetary compensation from Activision as well as control of the Modern Warfare subset of the COD franchise.
