   Wow, what a waste of my time. The title should be changed to "One mans opinion of a TEASER CGI trailer." Treaser trailer, not gameplay video, TEASER TRAILER.

   The games are great and it's a pitty that SONY don't pump or didn't pump those games up with propaganda, they are really great games and I didn't know anything about them until I read someone say the exact same thing, that they are great games.
   
   God of War 3 should be awesome, Sony need to hype this bad boy up big, like nothing before it, then release 1 and 2 for download and yada yada yada
   
   Japanese people have no clue of what westerners want and visa versa, we westerners love Kratos, those who know him anyway, so let other people see him with large amounts of advertizing mmmmk Sony?
   
   You can have FF13, its not even that big of a seller for Sony, Gran Turismo has done better for Sony than any FF game and that is fact.
   
   God of War needs promotion Sony! for hells sake!

   How is it lame? I mean MS did the same thing with Halo 3 when they first showed the demo and people never said nothing about halo 3 trailer. And the funny thing is, halo 3 didnt even look as good as that trailer. Now with God of War 3 trailer u say its lame but its a proven series and is an AAA series and from what we hear the game is going to look as good as that trailer so how is it lame? Stop hatin on an AAA series that is about to come out and slap every action game that has come out this next gen in the face including your beloved ninja gaiden 2 game which was a failure. We all know God of War is going to be huge and will be a success.

   hey he said that it was only a trailer, not gameplay, he said that their should have been gameplay...and also the trailer was not an actual in game trailer(the halo 3 one was)...notice it reads CGI trailer, so a gameplay, or in game trailer would not look quite that good

   Yes, thank you Joe Daddy, we knew it was a teaser trailer and not a gameplay trailer. The question is what the fuck were Sony doing NOT bringing a gameplay trailer for GoW 3, when (A) the internet already worked out that GoW 3 was going to be shown at E3, as should have been obvious to sony if they paid attention to anything ever, they should have realised that a CGI trailer wouldn't be worth the time it took to watch it, only gameplay would impress, and especially (B) in the face of Microsoft's shocker...a CGI trailer? Seriously. Fucking. Weak.
   
   Just like the whole of Sony's E3 showing in fact...N'Gai Croal got to see Heavy Rain behind closed doors and remarked what a mistake it was for Sony not to have shown it properly during E3. Yes, instead of MAG. And he's absolutely right.

   It tool me a while to realize this but sony currently has an NDA on 2 or 3 games that were only showed to certain media individuals...and i can't beleaiv e it took me this long to figure it out...its GOW3...and this new post at N4G sort of mention what GOW3 looks like, so our claim is false Steve West.

   Teaser trailers are generally CGI and show little or no gameplay - have you not seen these before?
   
   At any rate, judging from the progress make on Killzone vs. the original bullshots, I'd say they'll be able to get pretty close to this teaser...

   In the latest HotSpot podcast -from GameSpot- , numerous sources reported that "the level of realism as far as the graphics go in God of War 3" looks very close to the CG teaser. They actually said it is looking like Beowulf the movie. The discussion lasts 59 minutes.

   Also, Sony knows exactly what they are doing. Rohdes and Tretton have already commented on the teaser and they've said that they just wanted to give a little taste of GoW3 and keep everyone waiting. Just because you NEED to see in-game footage doesn't mean other people don't like the suspense.

   Wow. You want Sony to show for the first time janky gameplay? An epic title like this needs an epic introduction, and although it was the most brilliant trailer, it's not like it wasn't cool.

   Trust me, the in game cgi videos will look as good as this video. The team working on god of war 3 has never disappointed us. This article is crap regardless. I can tell an xbox fanboy wrote it because there are plenty of other cgi trailers for him to criticize but he picks the most highly anticipated ps3 title.
   
   What about the Gears 2 CGI trailer?

   first and for most i would like to see u do some thing better,, and second..God of war is one of the best fuckin games of all time..hands down..yes it is up there wit halo,COD.and many others..and for u too down play sony because u didn't see any game play..well go fuck ur self...maybe u should learn advertising or marketing other than talking shit and writing shit....so shut ur mouth and know ur role...b4 i bitch slap you,
