Poor Hideo Kojima. He finally finishes Metal Gear Solid 4 but there's still no rest for him. The guy has to spend every day fending off reporters asking him when it's going to be ported to Xbox 360. It's not going to happen, guys. Give it a rest.
"I hope they'll ask me about Metal Gear, about us, about our future projects, and will stop caring about the hardware," Kojima said to Eurogamer in an interview on Tuesday. Once again, he noted that "because MGS4 was optimised for the PS3 it is probably not possible."
Of course, if you were delusional enough to still think there was a chance MGS4 would come to 360, I'm sure you think "probably not possible" sounds promising. If you're intent on rumor-mongering, here's another piece of red meat from Kojima: "Sometimes I even feel like it should be on a PC so that people don't ask me about hardware and platforms." That's right, you heard it here first, the Metal Gear series is going to be a PC exclusive! It's Digg-licious!

Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots will always be exclusive to PLAYSTATION 3. Is not going anywhere especially not Xbox 360 or PC. Most Xbox 360 owners bedsides myself dream of having our PS3 exclusives. Hideo Kojima doesn't make games for all crappy hardware like Xbox 360.
@ Wesley - He denied you nothing. You MGS fans, denied yourselves the opportunity, buy going with the wrong hardware. Did you seriously believe when you purchased your 360, that it would be multi-platform? Seriously?? Well...you were wrong.
This article sounds like it was writting by a Sony fanboy... Sony lost most people on the ridiculous $600 price tag... There is no way around admitting that it is not worth that much money even with Blu Ray.
we are asking cause if enough people do ask, maybe he will make it for 360. look at Final Fantasy, thats coming your for 360. sure Sony was pissed but there are games that suppose to be 360 only switched to Sony. so stop asking us to stop asking cause we wont stop asking until he makes it =o)
Ah shoot. I was hoping it come to 360. I didn't want to pay $500 just for the only game the PS3 has going for it. Oh well, I'm too much of a die hard metal gear fan to not get it. Guess I'll just have to start putting money aside. Yes people, Metal Gear is worth $500, but not the PS3. lol
You cling to that thread of hope you sad xbox lovers. It will never come to 360 and even IF by some kind of miracle it did, it would look $hit. Like Mornelithe said, you denied yourself this great game, and many future great games for that matter by buying RRoD toaster you call a dirtbox360. Still, least it and the housebrick sized power pack will keep you warm in the winter.
First of all, why is it that PS3 fanboys have a tough time spelling? There are so many spelling, clarity, and grammatical errors throughout the posts I had a hard time understanding what they were talking about.
Let me set something straight for everyone posting: Money talks. When Konami and Kojima wake up from their drug-induced Sony commas, they'll look at the sales numbers for MGS4 and there will be a major hang-over (if there isn't already).
Here's the most important question no one is asking: why spend millions to develop a game that will only sell a small amount of units to a hardware system with a minority of users (don't forget the missed profits with additional content selling on xboxlive).
It is inevitable that the game will be released on another platform (Kojima was quoted on gamespot as thinking about adapting the game to other platforms), it makes sense - especially when the ecomony is in the process of taking a nice trip down the toilet.
Simply adapting a completed game (in this case MGS4) to a xbox or PC = little development money and big profits $$$$
or
Developing a new game from scratch = big development investment and unsure profit.

Why does he denie his fans that cant afford a PS3 this great title seems unfair, i played the whole MGS franchise on PS2...
Oh wel.... he just lost a fan im not paying R4700 just to play one single game
