Time for more Wall-E gushing! This time Pixar’s newest animated feature has a new poster, unveiled online by Cinematical (the lucky bastards). It’s an awesome shot of the little robot on the desolated landscape, with other important imagery (Eve, the rocket, the planet) looming in the background.
At first I have to admit I wasn’t that impressed with the new poster, but the more I look at it, the more the level of detail is simply amazing. Look at those piles of garbage and the clarity of Wall-E himself. If that doesn’t blow you away, nothing will. I only hope the printed version of the poster is as amazing as the digital version that’s online.
Cinematical claims this is the last poster for the movie, which sounds a little off to me. The movie doesn’t come out until late June – surely it’s too soon for this to be the last poster they’ll put out, right? At the very least I hope Disney repeats what they did with Cars a few years ago and sends out promotional wallpapers and digital images on a weekly basis leading up to the movie’s release. There just won’t be enough Wall-E for me.
Obviously we have a small version of the poster there on the right, but if you really want to see that added level of detail, check it out over at Cinematical
