The trailer for Wes Anderson’s new movie The Darjeeling Limited is here, and it looks exactly like a Wes Anderson movie. That’s good, because that’s usually what I look for in a Wes Anderson movie. I’m sure he could make his movie look like a Paul W.S. Anderson movie if he wanted, but I’m not really sure what would be served by having Owen Wilson take a big dump on the set. Being Wes Anderson is very, very good.
The movie stars Owen Wilson, Adrian Brody, and Jason Schwartzman as three brothers trying to work out their differences by taking a train ride through India. From the trailer, it looks like their reunion may have achieved mixed results. Unless mace in the face is a big part of the reconciliation process. I guess maybe it is.
Watch the trailer and love the other good Anderson by clicking right here. Then watch for Darjeeling in theaters September 29th. I can’t wait.
