With The Dark Knight mere days away, WB has let The Joker loose on their marketing materials. He spent the weekend defacing everything, from the official site, the viral sites, and even the movie’s official posters.
It actually reminds me a lot of the promotion for Superman Returns, when Lex Luthor ran amok and did basically the same thing. Well it’s all Warner Brothers, so I guess there’s nothing wrong with recycling a fun marketing idea. Here’s the posters:
