In an attempt to improve the odds in that game that bares his name, Kevin Bacon is appearing in another movie with some actors. Now when you try to connect Charlie Chaplin with Kevin Bacon, you can add in “and Frank Langella was in Frost/Nixon with Kevin Bacon” or “and Michael Sheen was in Frost/Nixon with Kevin Bacon.” In case you haven’t grasped it yet, Kevin Bacon is going to be the movie version of Frost/Nixon, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Frost/Nixon is currently a hit Broadway play, written by Peter Morgan, about the 1977 interview of former President Richard Nixon by English television personality David Frost. Langella and Sheen will reprise their Broadway roles as the two lead characters and Bacon will portray Nixon’s chief of staff, John Brennan. The film version will be directed by Opie himself, Ron Howard. They will all begin reliving a period in our history we’d all soon forget this summer.
