David Hasselhoff is still living in a celebrity dream world and thus talked openly about how his Knight Rider movie is progressing to People Magazine, as if its actually going to happen.
In the film that he thinks he's going to produce, David plans to reprise his role as Michael Knight because "Baywatch" has been cancelled and he can't get anything else. The twist will be that Knight is old, and thus cannot ride around talking to imaginary cars. So he's taken over Devin Miles job, heading up the Foundation for Law and Government, while Knight's son has taken over as the man behind K.I.T.T.'s wheel.
Sinking further into dementia, Hasselhoff talked about Ben Affleck as the studio's first choice to play his son, unaware that despite a recent string of flops, Ben Affleck is still too big to work with David Hasselhoff. But because he's such a nice guy, Hasselhoff says he wants to bring in as much of the old "Knight Rider" cast as possible, "I'd like it to be the old voice, William Daniels [as K.I.T.T]".
