All the hand wringing over whether or not Indiana Jones might continue on with a younger actor in the lead can end. Mutt Williams will not star in his own series of movies about his quest for the perfect hair grease. If another Indiana Jones movie happens at all, it will only happen with Harrison Ford.. at least if George Lucas has anything to say about it. And he does. In fact he has everything to say about it.
Lucas tells the Huffington Post that if a movie was made without Harrison, it would have to be something else entirely. He says, “If Indiana Jones wasn't in it, you'd have to call it 'Mutt Williams and the search for Elvis.” So that means they won’t make it right? Harrison Ford is obviously way too old, and come on the last movie wasn’t very good. Maybe someone should tell George Lucas that, because he’s still talking about coming up with an idea for Indy 5.
At least if we have to sit through an Indy 5, it’s good to know it’ll only suck because Lucas wrote it, not because they cast some young spare to replace Harrison Ford.
