The first trailer for New York, I Love You is here, and it’d probably be a lot better if it hadn’t used the same music used in the awful, brain-scarring trailer for My Best Friend’s Girl.
Despite the way it fearlessly associates itself with the likes of Kate Hudson and Dane Cook, the trailer is a nice little star-studded affair. That’s the real selling point for this film, famous names, lots of them. It’s composed of multiple short films about New York City put together by different famous directors and starring the likes of Ethan Hawke, Orlando Bloom , Hayden Christensen, Shia LaBeouf, Julie Christie, Kevin Bacon, Chris Cooper, Rachel Bilson, Robin Wright-Penn, and a whole host of others. If the concept sounds familiar, it’s because the same thing was done with Paris in Paris je t'aime.
