Posters exist for movies that are coming out some time soon. We have them. We keep them to ourselves, but take pictures of them to prove to you that they actually exist. Then I make fun of them. This week we sidestep issues of man-fish love.
Last week I debuted the first two character posters for The Punisher. This one is just an alternate version. It's a threat. See this movie or Thomas Jane will shoot you in the head. Or maybe a promise. See this movie and you'll beg Thomas Jane to shoot you in the head. Pick whichever meaning suits your take on Punisher.
Some movies just aren't meant for American audiences. Two Brothers is a perfect example. So it makes sense that we have Japanese and French posters for the flick, but nothing written in good old American. The French love boring movies about Tigers playing. Americans love movies about Tigers playing with Jerry Lewis. Think of this thing as Babe with claws and big pointy teeth.
Harry Potter finally has some style: A pair of posters that embrace his black cauldron roots. The first one is just a boring text poster, granted. And technically the second one is just a clever floating heads poster. But the floating heads are being sucked into a black hole and any time little children are swallowed by a great nothing it's a good thing. I'm now holding out for a Rock Biter cameo.
