Nim’s Island has a new poster and trailer. Hang on a minute, we may have had this movie all wrong. It’s not another low budget fantasy movie frantically scrabbling for the under age remains of the Harry Potter audience. It’s not strictly speaking, a fantasy movie at all. Instead, from this latest trailer it looks like it’s more in the vein of Swiss Family Robinson. Alright, maybe it gets there by way of some bad, Martin Lawrence movie influenced material, but at least they’re trying. And the cast by the way, is brilliant. Jodie Foster, Gerard Butler, Abigail Breslin, and an island full of animals. Maybe this thing has potential?
