I have to admit I didn’t have much interest in a big screen adaptation of Get Smart. I initially thought Don Adams role was simply to iconic to be remade… until they cast Steve Carell in the part. From that moment, the movie had quite a bit of potential, and every trailer, commercial, and image released from the movie has increased that potential.
A new, second trailer has been released for Get Smart and it continues the trend of making the movie look pretty darmn awesome. This time not only does Carell look good (and get in one of the show’s classic catchphrases), but Dwayne Johnson looks like he’s got some potential as well. Even cooler than either of those is Anne Hathaway, who shows a little flesh but kicks much ass. She may be the highlight of the movie when it finally hits screens, and I’m not just saying that because I lust after her… okay, maybe a little. You can lust too, by watching the trailer below:

Looks like it will be a funny flick! Anna looks much like Barb and it should (by the trailers so far) follow the "slap" style comedy of the show from the 60's. I remember watching the re-runs very well, as I was born in the early 60's not long berfore the show aired for the first time I was to young to remember the first runs.
I'm sure Steve will make a good Max as he has that quiet, cool yet funny quarkie acting style (alot like Don was). I hope that this vey good looking film stay's away from the over kill of the films of the last 10-20 yeas.
