Second Twlight Trailer

By Josh Tyler: 2008-07-17 19:26:35
Second Twlight Trailer The second trailer for Summit Entertainment’s toothless vampire flick Twilight is online. When I call it toothless, I mean literally. Fans of the book series on which its based tell me these vampires don’t have fangs. Where’s the fun in that? Please tell me they at least drink blood.

You won’t see any blood drinking in this trailer though. It’s mostly a lot of pretty folk standing around posing, though there is a nice sequence in which the hero vampire stops a car with his forefinger. Or something like that. I know a lot of people are really into this thing though, and I’m rooting for their faith in this would-be franchise to be justified. This trailer just hasn’t sold me yet. Here it is, take a look:

I agree with you somewhat; the trailer isn't exactly that spectacular. But then again, while the book was good, it wasn't exactly what you would call a hard reader. Pretty simple and straightforward; but a good story none the less.

I'm just hoping Kristen Stewart doesn't ruin the movie; only because I don't seem to think shes a very good actress. But we shall see XD

I am disappointed in the girl playing Bella. Actually not really because I hated Bella, the book in the beginning tried to describe her as mature when she was only childish the entire series...anyways I'm more excited to see whose playing Carlile and Esme who happened to be two of my favorite characters. Emmit too...lol. Anyways, just for future reference to the author, don't write anymore books. The last one was horrible. I thought it was going to be good, so i bought it and it was a waste of money and time...pft. I will see the movie though, i hope it wont crash and burn thought the popular idea is that it will.

Well, I loved the series but I think that the movie will ruin the book.
Thats what happens 95.6 percent of the time... though i'm rooting for it, and I really hope they get all of the characters right, otherwise it will all be just shot to H3llll, for one Bella doesn't live in or anywhere near a farm.. thats one thing that bothered me and yeah... they should really take this seriously... maybe the producers should pay closer attention to the book and what Stephanie's vision was and not the idea that maybe this would make the movie "better"!
but personally Jacob is my favorite character and if they ruin his character i'm sueing!

I loved the first book, though many people at my school didn't. I just recently ordered the rest of the series on Amazon.com. I am extremely anxous and I was just wondering for those who have already read the whole series would fill me in just a bit?

About the movie, I desperately want this to be good. I do remember Catherine Stewart in the movies "Speak", "Into The Wild", and "The Messengers". Over all good movies (wasn't to crazy about "Speak", but life goes on). The character Edward Cullen was in two of the most recent Harry Potter movies playing as Cedric Diggory.
