The more I see of Semi-Pro the less I like it. The first teaser trailer for instance, was hilarious. That long, lingering, slow, shot over Will’s typically disgusting body clad in short-shorts and white knee socks made me laugh. The second trailer… looked like he was still making Blades of Glory.
The first teaser poster was great. A rear-side shot of nothing but Will Ferrell’s fro-clad head. Attention getting, creative. What’s not to like? The movie’s second poster… looks like it was cobbled together out of leftover marketing materials from Starsky & Hutch. Though I do like the fur coat Ferrell.

OK, Will has slipped up, Talladega was great, Old School, natch. but Blades was meh at best despite his and Heders talent, it didnt work as well. But if I have to say how can you go wrong with Andre and Woody?
