Tom Cruise Cooks Up More Comedy

By Josh Tyler: 2008-08-12 04:04:13
Tom Cruise Cooks Up More Comedy Tom Cruise is a total riot in Tropic Thunder and apparently the early positive response to his fat, hairy, balding part in the film has given him the confidence to pursue more comedic roles. HR says he may end up doing a comedy called Food Fight.

In it, Cruise would play a snooty New York chef forced to work at a school cafeteria. So it’s not just Tom Cruise doing comedy, but Tom Cruise doing a comedy with a bunch of kids. Tom Cruise in the radioactive roast beef version of School of Rock. Is anybody else worried that he may be able to brainwash his underage castmates into joining Scientology? Actually, stage moms being what they are, their parents might consider a place in L. Ron Hubbard’s cult a golden opportunity. Maybe by joining they’ll get little Timmy a spot in Battlefield Earth: The New Batch, or whatever the next Hubbard-based movie ends up being.

Scientology un-brainwashes people. That's the point. You would think being against psychotropic drugs, ECT, and lobotomy would make it obvious enough (but NO, people on the happy pills are normal and it's those Scientologists that are weird, huh?). Read Dianetics if you don't believe me. As for Battlefield Earth, the book was fantastic, movie not up to par. So many book adaptations are that way, but maybe some day it would come right. I don't think Cruise would ever do it though. Then again, L. Ron Hubbard's Final Blackout, would make a great movie. The nay-sayers will criticize and rant like rabid rodents, yet anyone with an IQ over 120 who actually checks out what I've said will find it true.

Looks like Cuba Gooding Jr can expect more company in IUsedToBeASeriousActorButNowICanOnlyMakeCrappyMovies-ville

    Show me the funny.

"I used to work for NASA, but now I CHOOSE to work here at the Go-Kart track... its so much more fun!"

JD it's funny you're so qick to call people who disagree names. Is it because you don't have an argument and they do.

Where's your proof that anyhtign in scientology works, except the hypnosis and brainwashing that Hubbard bragged about "being better than the soviet's?"

SO far all scientology has provided is testimonials and fake endorsments from mayor's who immediately had those false endorsments removed.

Hubbard was a con-man. Like most con-men he was smart, at least enough to con people. The problem is he didn't cover his tracks very well. Almost all of his claims about his life and the effectiveness of Dianetics have been shown to be bull. The one and only thirds party test he allowed showed it did nothing. His military records show he was never blinded. His University records show he never passed his first year, and New York university records show that no plant specimens werre given to them by him, and hold no record of any of the cliams he made regarding plant species what-so-ever. Even his doctorate is fake. It came from a diploma-mill and was signed to a University tat never existed.

As for Tom Cruise, he has to do comedy now. After all, you play to your strengths, and let's face it, he's a laughing stock.
