Part vampire, part "Roswell"-style teen angst melodrama, Twilight is the common tale of the new girl in town who happens to make friends with a vampire. The best-selling young adult novel is now getting the Hollywood treatment and we've got our first look at the trailer found on MySpaceTV (where else would you debut a pre-teen money grabber?)
The Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattison-starring film is slated to open on Dec. 12, and judging by the looks of the trailer, it's already forgettable -- just like director Catherine Hardwicke's other work (Thirteen, Lords of Dogtown). SHE HEARS PEOPLE SCREAMING AND STUFF.
HE DOES NOT TELL HER THAT HE IS 17 IN THE FOREST
ITS WHEN THEY ARE TALKING IN THE CAR AND HE EXPLIANS
WHERE HE CAME FROM. THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR
WRECKING ONE OF THE GREATEST NOVELS OF ALL TIME.
OH PS. JACOB IS NATIVE, NOT BLOODY ASIAN.

the trailer makes the movie look great but as others have ssaid it does have its' flaws like the forest, who jacob is, and other things. But it is still going to be a beyond awesome movie.
I read the books two days ago and yesterday I discovered that there's a movie coming. I'm so freakin thrilled. I absolutely LOVED the books so. ^^ The weird thing was that I pictured Edward in the book as Robert Pattinson , so than I see there's a movie and Edward is played by Robert. xD That just stunned me. :P
in response to what "Jacqueline and Kenzie" said not everything in the film is going to be exactly like the book.
I mean it'd be ridiculous if it had every single scene with everything happening exactly the same xD
it's "based" on the book, not a copy of the book.
oh and taylor [jacob] is of native american indian and not asian o-o wtf.
he doesn't have any asian heritage what-so-ever xD you can clearly see that >>
anyway, I think the film is gonna be awesome >D
they picked a rlly good cast to play the cullens [especially]
