Uwe Boll’s next picture has a release date, and typically we’d be warning you to steer clear of the theater on that date. Unfortunately, Boll has picked a date that there are sure to be people in the theater – just not to see his picture. Postal will debut on May 23rd, which just happens to be the same weekend some old archeologist with a whip and fedora will be returning after a long absence.
I wish I could say this was a joke, but it’s not, and we already know Boll’s crazy, so there’s no need to ask if that’s the case. To prove his insanity, Boll decided to talk some trash about Spielberg and the release he’ll be going up against (reported by Bloody Disgusting: ”On the Indiana Jones weekend - May 23 - we will go out and destroy Indiana Jones in the Box Office! We all know that Harrison Ford is older as my grandpa and his time is up - would Michael Moore say! Spielberg gets sloppy. We saw that with War of the Worlds (why the fuck the older brother survived?) and also in parts of Jaws, E.T., Munich etc.! My performance in Postal as 'Nazi Theme Park Owner' outperforms easily Ben Kingsley in Schindler's List!"
If Boll was unhappy with how few screens Bloodrayne was released on, something tells me he’s going to be incredibly disappointed with how Postal fares. It’s not exactly a spillover movie either; you know, the one that people who can’t get into Indiana Jones will head to see? In fact, it’s probably the type of movie that would chase most people away from the theater like the giant boulder in Raiders of the Lost Ark.
Go ahead and blink, because you’re going to miss Postal in theaters. Maybe Boll can pick a better time to release the DVD for the movie… like Judgment Day.

Uwe Boll picking apart Jaws and E.T. is almost as hilarious as Postal coming anywhere near close to "destroying" Indiana Jones IV.
I think he does this every time one of his efforts is due a release... he says something controversial so he can get press it seems. I guess he has to though, as I'm not sure anyone would notice his movies otherwise.
Having said all that, he must be having a laugh with the Schindlers List comment.
