   fix that synopsis, it sucks - he involuntarily time travels, and not just to times in his wife's life but in his own and to other random places as well.

   I just finished the book last night - it was incredible, and I cannot WAIT for this film. And I love Eric and Rachel. It's going to be so fantastic!!

   I am reading this book for the 5th time in as many years! Great story!
   Your "preview" is wrong. This story is more complex than a simple Love story. I think most readers would find that it is like no book they have read before.
   
   Hollywood PLEASE don't mess this one up!!

   i, also, just finished reading it and completely agree that it is a great book. Great writing and such detail, especially in describing the emotions of the characters. Similar to the story of Contact its a great Science Fiction story thats more about the relationships than the science.
   I hope the movie adapts the story closely in order to contact with the audience.

   ive always imagined clare being played by deborah messing, and henry played by johnny depp, and alba played by dakota fanning.
   it's probably just my imagination but yeah.
   i agree with everyone else, movies never portray what the book describes. movies always leave out tiny biits of information, but very important stuff relating to the storyline.
   but still hella excited ;D

   seriouslly this movie is gonna suck ass. i have the book, love it, favorite of all time ever and now its going to ruin it for everyone. charcters for the movie suck even more than the movie will. the only reason im going to see it is so i can see how bad they accually screw it up and besides i wouldnt be a fan if i didnt watch it at least once

   Ooh I finished this book yesterday. SERIOUSLY AMAZING!
   I almost cried..
   I'm excited and afraid of this movie.
   I really hope it doesn't completely ruin it, or I'm gonna be pissed.
   I love the actors picked for the parts (except Gomez because he's supposed to be blonde and Alba becuase sh'es supposed to have black hair) but other than that it fits my imagination perfectly =]
