For all of the mothers out there who realize that the lack of programming aimed at us and our lives seriously needs to be rectified, I have an announcement! If you haven’t seen the web version of In the Motherhood, I suggest you check it out now. If you have, then you will share my joy in this. ABC has announced that it will be creating a series around the stories re-enacted by the hilarious trio Leah Remini, Chelsea Handler and Jennie McCarthy.
Hollywood Reporter delivered the news a few days ago, but due to technical difficulties (my Compaq laptop crashing for the 4th time in 11 months), I just found out! I’m pretty geeked about the number of episodes that will be done, also. “The network has handed out a 13-episode order to a comedy based on MindShare's Internet series of the same name.”
If you haven’t seen the internet series, I’ll briefly explain. It’s a series of shows starring the three lovely ladies mentioned above. They star as Kim, Heather and Kelly respectively, and the stories they reenact are based on true stories submitted by real moms. Each episode features a basic storyline, and hilarity ensues. No, seriously, it is hilarious.

I think the show is a great ways for moms to be heard (when we seldom get any other accolades except for the occasional participation trophy that that we must buy for our child!) See video "V.I.P.'s in the Hood" on my "fourwithtwins" Youtube channel (devoted to responses to the "In The Motherhood" Discussions) :o)
